I’m trying to be a good girl, and actually give a little word-space to all the stuff I’ve been too lax to blog up proper in the past few months. To that end, I present Part the Third: THE BEEKEEPER.

I’ve gone mad. I’ve caught the sickness. Whatever you want to call it. I, personally, call it HEXIPUFF FEVER.

I, like so many brighter stars before me, have decided to knit up all my sockweight leftovers into tiny little hexagons, for eventual assembly into a quilt-like blanket. After perusing countless projects on Ravelry and Flickr, I decided how I want my particular blankie to come together:

Remember these? This is a quilt pattern known as “Grandma’s Flower Garden,” composed of tiny little hexagons. I assume you can see where I’m going with this? We had a quilt like this on our guest bed when I was growing up, and I thought it would be really cool if I could do the same. But out of yarn. Because I’m insane.

No, not insane. I just have The Fever.
