The roster of things finished for March:

Despite picking some massive-scale (sportweight sweater, anyone?) projects for this round, I managed to finish all the challenges for both games.  Thank goodness for double-dipping.  There are March socks, more squares for the Crochet a Rainbow project, a new project bag made out of an old t-shirt to replace the one I lost to the ether, a bed for the very non-bed-inclined kitten, and the sweater.  Wow.

What I did not so much do this month was hit my goal point for my three-month project, which is (gasp!) another sweater.  I spent this past weekend knitting acres of stockinette on size 4 needles to try and get caught up before I started “official” April projects.  Which are, so far:

  • A lace stole out of some gorgeous madelinetosh yarn (I’m sure you’re suprised)
  • Some pretty fingerless mitts for my Mama
  • April socks, of course
  • Ten more squares for Crochet a Rainbow to bring my total up to a round 30

I think I can do this.  The three-month sweater is about half done at this point.  While I haven’t made it to the “stopping point” I was hoping to achieve this weekend, it’s in pretty darn good shape.  I think I’m going to take a break from it with the mitts for Banana.  Since she’s gotten sick again and had to cancel her visit up this weekend, it will at least help me feel like she’s a bit closer.  When I finish those, I’ll go back to sweater.  Then hopefully alternate lace and sweater until the stole is done, then socks and more sweater until both are done.  Squares I can rock out towards the end of the month, and then sip a Mai Tai until the 30th.  Right?
