I\u2019m trying to be a good girl, and actually give a little word-space to all the stuff I\u2019ve been too lax to blog up proper in the past few months. To that end, I present Part the Third: THE BEEKEEPER.<\/p>\n

I’ve gone mad. I’ve caught the sickness. Whatever you want to call it. I, personally, call it HEXIPUFF FEVER.<\/p>\n

I, like so many brighter stars before me, have decided to knit up all my sockweight leftovers into tiny little hexagons, for eventual assembly into a quilt-like blanket. After perusing countless projects on Ravelry and Flickr, I decided how I want my particular blankie to come together:<\/p>\n

Remember these? This is a quilt pattern known as “Grandma’s Flower Garden,” composed of tiny little hexagons. I assume you can see where I’m going with this? We had a quilt like this on our guest bed when I was growing up, and I thought it would be really cool if I could do the same. But out of yarn. Because I’m insane.<\/p>\n
